{Reunited and big STEPS}

We were so glad to have Brady home. It is funny how you take things for granite when you see them every day. I'm so happy to be married to my best friend! The person who knows me inside and out and still wants to be with me all the time! And i want to be with him all the time and more! I feel so blessed that we could be sealed together for time and all eternity with Avery in March. I feel so lucky to have such a awesome man in my life! Thank you Brady for everything you do for me and Avery!! 

WE LOVE YOU!!

Avery took her first STEPS on August 20, 2012! One day before her 11 month birthday! She did it twice in one day!! But hasn't really done it since.. I know she can walk! She is just a little unsure of herself. Once she learns to trust herself there will be no stopping her. She is one strong willed baby, scratch that she is a toddler! I don't know exactly when it happened, but all of the sudden she is no longer a baby! She doesn't act or sound, or look like a little baby anymore!! She has graduated to the TODDLER stage! And even though it makes me sad that she is no longer my little scrunchy thing. She is so fun!! This new stage is just as fun as her newborn stage! I am so excited for what life with Avery has to bring!! I can not believe how fast this year went by.. But in the same breathe i can not wait for the future! :]

Mindi and Dan got a hot tub!! And they said we can use it whenever! I love it! It is so nice, and the best part is Avery loves it too!! She just loves to sit and float and hang out with Mama and Dad :] Audree on the other hand was a little crazy!! She just kept splashing like crazy and and her legs were going nuts! It had to be the funniest thing i have ever seen! She definitely loves water!

I watched Brady's cousin's Corchele little baby Cambria for a few hours while she was at school. Avery's first steps were taken when she was trying to get to Cambria! She was so interested in Cambria she just wanted to play with her and steal her binki! 

After playing all day she was so tired!!!

Brady and i took Avery to the park by our house and played on the playground for a little. I love that we live so close to a clean fun park! I'm sure next summer we will be spending even more time there!

She looks so little in the swing.. she loved it!

Brady Goes ACROSS the Country

So I'm a little behind on my blogging!

Brady had some dealer meetings this month which is kind of fun..

But it includes a TON of flying! 

{Like 5,600 miles in 4 days}

He went to Florida first, then headed off to Wisconsin.

It was a good experience for him, but we sure missed him at home!

While he was gone Lil' Brooke came to stay with me over the weekend while Terrie and Cody went to St. George. It was so so nice to having a "sister" to live with! It sure made me miss the good old days with my TWO awesome sisters at the Rent's house! 

Brielle came and stayed the remainder of the time Brady was gone. :] {i know i'm a sissy.. i don't like being alone}

Avery missed her Daddy, the whole time he was gone she just seemed off.. Hard to explain but i could tell she was so happy to have him home! We sent him a few pictures because he was missing her too..

And she learned to carry things in her mouth so she can still walk and hold on the the wall/objects she looks so silly!! She does it with everything! i love it! By the way.. that is her comb :]

{Carnival}

Today was Snell & Wilmer's Annual summer party!

It was just as awesome as it always is!

It was Avery's first Carnival and she loved it!

Since she was such a cute kitty i wanted to be a kitty too! so i was!

i tried to convince brady to be a kitty with us but it wasn't his thing, but he said he would claim us so we wouldn't be stray kitties.

And we can't wait to get in Mindi & Dan's new Hot Tub they got this week!

This weekend should be fun playing in the hot tub.

 

We had a a nice family dinner out at Grandma Dee Dee's house on sunday. It was so nice and it brought back a ton of memories of all the time i spent there with Grandma Dee Dee and Grandpa Dan. I sure miss Grandpa Dan i can not believe it has been 8 years since he passed.

we went over to the Lister's this week and Terrie was working late. Taylor was snuggling with Cody and Avery wanted to join, Taylor had a book in hand and gave it to Cody to read. It was so cute to see both grandkids with Grandpa Cody... i couldn't resist.. i snapped a photo!

All in All it has been an exciting week! 

Life is so great & this summer is going way to fast!

Avery is going to be ONE soon and i can not believe it!

What happen to my newborn little baby?

{water & first times}

Well we have had an awesome past couple of weeks! 

!!!!!!!!!AVERY IS CRAWLING!!!!!!!!!

well if you can call it that.. i call it the Mowgli Crawl because she is on all {4}s {hands/feet}. she can go long distances but she chooses not to. she goes to the closes object.. usually a wall and stands up and walk and holds on to it to steady herself. but i am one proud Mama! i haven't caught it on tape/picture but i will try to remember and post on later.

 

On July 16th Avery and i went with Brit and Audree and my mom and dad to the Expo Center in Sandy to preview all the floats for the 24th of July parade.

On July 25 grandpa was trying to water a dry spot on the lawn when he lost his balance and fell on the curb :[ He didn't break anything thank goodness but he sure looked banged up! He is doing much better which i'm so grateful for!! We love you Grandpa!

We went to Seven Peaks on {AUG 2} with everyone! 

Avery officially loves water!! i thought she would since she loves bath time, we spent a lot of time in the LaZy RiVeR floating around. They even have a splash pad there for the little kids and i think that was Avery's favorite!!

It was so so pretty!! I know everyone says that about it but it is so true! Everything about it seem so peaceful, clean, and prettttty! the food court there is huge and they have this big play area for kids with all sorts of animals/dinosaurs for kids to climb and play on. And to say Avery love it doesn't quite cover it.. she loves other kids she gets so excited she can hardly contain herself, it is so cute!!

Avery had so much fun at Seven Peaks splash pad i decided to take her to the local splash pad down in foxboro she had a blast again.. i think that will become a regular hot spot for us haha

Super Weekend! :]

Happy 4th of July!! And Happy birthday to Uncle Rob and Aunt Mindi AKA Maunster! Me and Brady decided to go boating again this time on utah lake on the 4th.. sounds crazy right? but the lake was empty!!! and the water was glass all morning!! We took our neighbors Nathaniel and Ashley, and MarRissa and Christian, and Lil' Brooke. It was so so fun! Everyone tried to wakeboard and got super close to getting up.. i think just a little more practice and everyone would be "pros"!:] But the fun started when we were tubing! Man-o-man i am sunburnt!! and i told myself i wasn't going to get burnt again.. i used SPF 50 everywhere but i guess i didn't angle the nozzle right and completely missed my back. so now im super itchy.. (peeling. I am no where near as  burnt or peeling as bad as brady!

 

Avery has reached a new milestone with her hair... PIGTAILS!!! i was so excited!! i love that her hair is getting longer and thicker! it is so awesome!

This Saturday i went to the Farmers Market in SLC with MarRissa and Ashley! it was lots of fun.. a little no it was super hot! But Avery got her very first i'm sure of many animal balloons! it was a MOUSE! I introduced Ashely and MarRissa to one of my favorite stores..

And it was a huge success! So instead and doing Saturday chores we CrAfTeD all day :] i made a super cute bird i was going to put up for spring/summer decor in the living room but in the mean time i hung it up on the closet door in avery's room and i LOVE IT!! i think it has found it's new home!

Like i said it has been a super weekend! 

And today (JULY 9,2012)is my parents 30th anniversary!!

Congrats Mama and Daddy!! Love you guys! You guys are such an inspiration to me! Thanks for being a great example to me!! :]

Boating & BIG DEALS

Brady decided on a whim to take a boat out this Saturday. So Brad, Brooke, and Brady's co-worker Taylor took a fourwinns up to Willard Bay after work. It was so so so WINDY!!!  The water was horrible!! HUGE waves! We couldn't get out behind the boat and wakeboard which was a bummer, not to mention that we forgot a pump so we couldn't blow up the tube. Instead we just hung out on the swim deck. AVERY loved BOATING!! She couldn't stop smiling and TaLkIng the whole time! We even got her in the lake!

And on the the BIG DEAL!! it is really a big deal as much as it is a freaking awesome deal!!! on my weekly garage sale trip this Saturday i found an awesome deal! i got me and Brady a sectional couch!!! And avery 3 new dresses and a magnet board.. all for..

drum roll please....    $50!!! can you believe it!!!! :] super buy!! it totally made my week!!

Here it is!! our awesome new couch! we moved our leather couches up into our front room, so now we have furniture in our front room!! yeah!! 

oh and i finished my entry way table. it turned out perfect!

{Chalk Paint and Super Finds}

So i decided to try a project.. i bought a dresser from one of my favorite yearly yard sales at DAY BREAK. it only happens once a year, but it is garage sale HeAvEn!! :] 

So i bought this dresser for $ 25 bucks! Such a good deal! i bought it to use as an entryway table in my front room.  sorry i forgot to take a picture before i started of it all put together but here it is all taken apart ready for paint

I decided to paint it a "pOp" color which in my front room is avocado green :] 

i used a technique i found on pintrest call Chalk Paint. You mix water and plaster of paris and add it to the paint color and paint it on.. no sanding required. There is a catch.. it dries REALLY REALLY fast!! so paint fast!

Here is all put back together.. i think i will put different hardware on.. just need to find the perfect knobs :] i love it!!

This weekend on my weekly garage sale trip i hit the jack pot! And i wasn't even going to stop at this one, but it was on the way so i went out on a limb. and i am SO glad i did! i got all this stuff..

Which includes: 

18 Onsies

11 pairs of shorts

12 pants

15 shirts

3 rompers

1 swimsuit

6 bibs

3 dresses

1 pair of shoes

1 pair of tights

1 binki clip

1 baby toy

and 

1 car organizer

all sizes 18-24 months.

all for $40!!! i could not believe my luck!! :] it was awesome

sorry i just had to brag.. i was super excited avery is going to be one good looking lady!! :] Oh and on the same trip i got a knife block full of knifes for $5. we never got a knife block.. just knifes at our wedding so it is nice to be all organized :]
