MISSING: Our Blog..

I can NOT believe that i haven't blogged since September.. Well actually I can. OOPS! Well, as usual life has been a little crazy.. but that is not a good excuse! Hopefully one day I will be really good at remembering to blog and do it more frequently..!

Life hasn't changed much here, except Avery! She is changing everyday scratch that, she changes every SECOND! I could probably go on for hours about Avery, but for everyone sanity I will not {I'm just one proud Mama}. Instead, I will give everyone a short list of Avery's new "Skills"

-Walking & Running

-Climbing up & down stairs

-Getting into every cupboard, closet, & DISHWASHER she can

-Words she can SAY: Mama, Dada, Doggie, Jaxon {Our dog's name}

-Animal Sounds she can say: {Dog: woof} {Cow: moo}

-Words she can Sign: More, Please, Food, Dad, Mom and Drink.

-Dancing to music or to nothing :]

-NINE teeth {including 2 molars}

-Body parts she can point to or AKA stick her finger in: Ear, Nose, and Bellybutton

-She can now shake her head for NO and nod for YES.. not sure if i like this..

And last but certainly not least..

-She can give the BEST little squishy face CRUSTIES {she gives you a crusty the laughs, or if you give her one she will do it back and then laugh!} so incredibly funny!! But now i can't give her the stink eye when she is being bad.. she just laughs at me.

Since my last blog post Avery also turned ONE year old!

Went to dinner at the Olive Garden with the family and the Girls watched Baby Einstein and ate snacks! They loved sitting next to each other! {So glad that they are BEST friends}

 

Brady & Brittney celebrated their 23rd and 28th birthdays a little early this year! {My mom forgot how old they were turning and bought the wrong number candles so they each only got one.. it is so fun to tease my mama}

 Avery is such a big girl. She follows me everywhere, i turned around and snapped this picture really fast as we were crossing the street.. {love my little SHADOW}.

  And Avery ADORES Brother. She loves going into his room and hanging out! He came out to say hi and she immediately gave him a big hug! So cute!

{Downata Hot Springs}

For Labor Day weekend this year we went on a last minute camping trip with my family.

We went up to Downata Hot Springs in Idaho. It was so fun! I definitely think we should go there again! It was Avery & Audree's first camping trip! They both did pretty good. Avery loved all the rocks and picked up almost every one she saw and smiled real big and showed us her cool find! It was really neat to see her experience things for the first time. I think we all take the little things for granite, and a lot of the time forget to stop and smell the roses or in Avery's case admire the rocks. It amazes me how much i learn from her every day.

 

On our way up there we drove through Malad, Idaho and stopped to play the LOTTERY! 

 

We bought one super Lotto ticket, and 5 dollar tickets and i WON!!! $25 :] i hope the luck continues and we can will MILLIONS with our lotto ticket!!  

Well at the Hot Springs we went swimming all day and silly me i left my camera/phone in the trailer {far, far away for water}. My dad did take some pictures so maybe i will have to steal some of his to post on here. We got the girls their own floating seats and they loved it. We even got Avery to go down one of the baby slides {brady caught her at the bottom}. They had a small splash pad for the kids and Avery seem to like it more than the other splash pads we have gone to in the past, i think because it wasn't as busy, and it was warm water coming up! She even would stand all by herself and reach out to the water with a huge smile! It was cool to see her standing there all by herself {i'm sure it won't be long till i wish she would not RUN all over the place}

 

After swimming all day Brady ended up holding both Avery and Audree while we were trying get dinner ready it was super cute! Audree LOVE Brady! 

 

The girls were so cute together! Avery is ready to play with Audree, but i don't think Audree is quite ready to play as much as Avery wants her to.. The girls ended up having matching PJ's {no planning on me and brit's part} They looked so cute so we had to get a picture of them together.

How ever Avery thinks it is so fun to pull out Audree's binky and put it back in.. Audree does not find this fun.. not one bit..

Our camping trip was s super success, Avery had a little hard time sleeping, but it was well worth it! Just a few more pictures of our outing!!

This post will be short I promise! As Avery's first birthday gets closer and closer we took Avery to get her one year photos at FotoFly! There studio is so cute! And they did such a good job we loved it and will definitely be going back and everyone else should go there too!! There are so many great pictures!! I just wanted to share a few of them here!

We were so glad to have Brady home. It is funny how you take things for granite when you see them every day. I'm so happy to be married to my best friend! The person who knows me inside and out and still wants to be with me all the time! And i want to be with him all the time and more! I feel so blessed that we could be sealed together for time and all eternity with Avery in March. I feel so lucky to have such a awesome man in my life! Thank you Brady for everything you do for me and Avery!! 

WE LOVE YOU!!

Avery took her first STEPS on August 20, 2012! One day before her 11 month birthday! She did it twice in one day!! But hasn't really done it since.. I know she can walk! She is just a little unsure of herself. Once she learns to trust herself there will be no stopping her. She is one strong willed baby, scratch that she is a toddler! I don't know exactly when it happened, but all of the sudden she is no longer a baby! She doesn't act or sound, or look like a little baby anymore!! She has graduated to the TODDLER stage! And even though it makes me sad that she is no longer my little scrunchy thing. She is so fun!! This new stage is just as fun as her newborn stage! I am so excited for what life with Avery has to bring!! I can not believe how fast this year went by.. But in the same breathe i can not wait for the future! :]

Mindi and Dan got a hot tub!! And they said we can use it whenever! I love it! It is so nice, and the best part is Avery loves it too!! She just loves to sit and float and hang out with Mama and Dad :] Audree on the other hand was a little crazy!! She just kept splashing like crazy and and her legs were going nuts! It had to be the funniest thing i have ever seen! She definitely loves water!

I watched Brady's cousin's Corchele little baby Cambria for a few hours while she was at school. Avery's first steps were taken when she was trying to get to Cambria! She was so interested in Cambria she just wanted to play with her and steal her binki! 

After playing all day she was so tired!!!

Brady and i took Avery to the park by our house and played on the playground for a little. I love that we live so close to a clean fun park! I'm sure next summer we will be spending even more time there!

She looks so little in the swing.. she loved it!
